A Beckoning for Jesus' Return
He which testifieth these things saith,
Surely I come quickly, Amen. Even so,
come, Lord Jesus. (Rev. 22:20)
We welcome you to this Beckoning for the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the First Fruits Rapture of His most faithful believers, the Bride of Christ. We don't know the exact day when Jesus will return, but we do know that He could appear even this year sometime between Resurrection Sunday (Easter) and the beginning of Summer. We are in deep joy about the possibility of His return and if we are counted worthy, to receive our resurrection bodies and to have our sinful nature completely removed. We will then be perfect in body, soul and spirit; we will be completely holy and righteous. After this, Jesus will take us to heaven and we will be serving and worshipping Him forever in perfect harmony and peace.
Our Father in Heaven, we thank You for showing us what You expect of us, so that we may be counted worthy to stand before the Son of Man and to be judged as faithful and wise servants of His. You have shown us the way by helping us to understand the Holy Scripture and by the power of the Holy Spirit to obey the commandments you have given us in both the Old and New Testaments. We have not been perfect in this walk with You, but we have confessed our sins to You and because of Your grace, we know that we have been completely forgiven and cleansed from our imperfections. We thank You that we are able to fellowship, worship and serve You and to have a peace in our lives that is worth more than all the riches in the world. We thank You for the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives and the continual encouragement and love we receive from You through Him. We are so blessed to be called by You to an infinitely better and more fulfilling life, even in this age. We are expectantly looking forward to the return of Jesus Christ our Lord, so this calling will become complete. We will then be without sin and will be filled with righteousness. Abba, we need You, we love You, we appreciate You and we thank You for being our Heavenly Father and our God, Amen.
Our Lord Jesus, You are our Savior in Heaven and in our lives, and we earnestly beckon for You to return to Earth so that our joy in our salvation will become complete. We, Your humble servants, want You to appear so we can see Your glory. We want you to return so that You will change us from being fallen and sinful men and women to becoming completely holy and righteous. We want You to appear so that our love for You and for our fellow believers will be made complete and perfect. We want You to appear so that in seven years, evil and death will be destroyed, the Earth restored and the curse removed. We dedicate the rest of eternity to Your service and to love You and to fellowship with You. We are at peace with You and will give praise, glory, honor and devotion to You forever, Amen.
We pray this prayer and this beckoning through the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen.
We invite all that read this prayer to also bow before our God in Heaven and to express in your own words that you are thankful to Him for His gift of mercies to you and to invite you to also beckon for the return of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Our Admonishment to You
Jesus said to be ready and watching for His return in the following verses:
Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. (Rev. 22:7)
Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. (Matt. 24:42)
Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the Master of the house cometh, at evening, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly He find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. (Mark 14:35-37)
If you are a member of the Bride of Christ, then you will also be longing for the return of Jesus. You will be watching each day for His return. Because of your faith in Him, you are right now preparing yourself for His return. You will be praying as commanded in the following scripture:
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man. (Luke 21:36)
You will also be denying all self-gratifying instincts or temptations that may appear in your life. You will be reading and obeying all the commandments in the Holy Bible, worshipping God, confessing your sins, praying and having fellowship with God and with other faithful believers. Finally, you will be obeying Jesus, and following every word that came out of His mouth because he said:
If you love me, keep my commandments. (John 14:15)
Our Lord Jesus Christ, we pray for all Christians across the world that many will also be joyfully waiting and watching for Your return. We pray that the Holy Spirit encourage them to continue in the faith and for many to have their arms wide open to receive You, at Your Second Coming. Please impart enthusiasm for Your service to our brothers and sisters in the United States, North America, Europe, Central and South America, Africa, the Mid-East, Israel, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and the Islands of the seas. In Your name we pray, Amen.
