The Battle of Armageddon

Eric Summers

In this article I will present to you the verses and their interpretation that describe the battle of Armageddon and brief summaries of the  events that lead up to this great battle between good and evil.

The Rise of Babylon

This great nation arises during the past few hundred years.  It controls much of the world  during the first half of the Tribulation and will be led by Antichrist.  It's religion is materialism and self-fulfillment.  It disrespects God and persecutes Christians during the first half of the Tribulation and is destroyed at mid-Tribulation: Destruction of Babylon.

The Condition of the end-times Churches

There are some members of the Christian Churches in the world that are not being very faithful to Jesus Christ because they are involved in the things of the world. The only faithful church is the Church at Philadelphia, the home or Bible church.  They live a sanctified life for God by obeying the Holy Bible and are watching for Jesus' return.

Damascus is destroyed

Because of a terrorist act on the state of Israel, Damascus, Syria is destroyed just before the beginning of the Tribulation: The Burden of Damascus

Jesus comes unexpectedly to the Churches of the world

At the end of the Church Age Jesus comes to each of the Christian churches of the world and identifies their spiritual deficiencies to them.  He tells most of them that their works are deficient and that He is requiring them to  remain on the earth to be tested by Antichrist for 3 1/2 years
so they can demonstrate their faith in Him.  He then prepares them for this testing: The Last Days of the Church Age.

The First Fruits Rapture

On the Day of Pentecost after Damascus is destroyed, Jesus takes to Heaven members of the Church at Philadelphia--the most faithful church.  Before the Tribulation these believers have demonstrated that they are dedicated to Him because they have studied and obeyed the Holy Bible and have watched and prayed for His return.  They are in the world but not of the world.

The Condition of the world just before the Tribulation

The economies of the world are near collapse before the Tribulation begins and the presidents of the various countries of the world have no idea what they should do to rectify this problem.  Antichrist has been waiting in the wings with a solution to this problem and he will step forward with his plan after the First Fruits Rapture.

Seal One: the White Horse

The economies of the world collapse and the Antichrist proposes a brilliant solution to this problem and is given control over the nations of the world, probably through the United Nations. Antichrist assumes leadership of  Babylon and a ten nation federation out of the European Union. He also controls or influences the economies of all of the countries of the world, but not the military of countries of the far east. Antichrist immediately sets up a seven year treaty promising to protect Israel should it be attacked by any nation. Shortly after this treaty is signed he attacks and destroys Egypt: The Burden of Egypt

Seal Two: the Red Horse

Many Muslim nations around Israel attack it, but they are destroyed by Almighty God: Ezekiel chapter 38 and 39.

Seal Three: the Black Horse

Inflation soars and the poor and middle class peoples of the world spend most of their money on food.  The rich people of the world still enjoy themselves because of their large bank accounts.

Seal Four: the Pale Horse

Wars are fought over dwindling food supplies and disease pandemics kill one-fourth of the people of the world.  Particularly hard hit will be the poorer countries of the world.

Seal Five

At the beginning of the Tribulation the less faithful Christians that are left behind after the First Fruits Rapture are rounded up and placed in detention camps.  They are then worked to the breaking point by Antichrist.  When they are completely worn out and cannot provide work for Antichrist, they are murdered by him, most likely by guillotine just before mid-Tribulation.

Seal Six

Because of its persecution of Christians and its disrespect for God, Jesus makes sure that  Babylon is destroyed  at mid-Tribulation: The Destruction of Babylon.

Jesus calls the 144,000

Jesus calls 12,000 out of each of the twelve tribes of Israel at mid-Tribulation.  They receive their resurrection bodies and will serve Him during the second half of the Tribulation.

The Main Harvest Rapture

There will be a second rapture at mid-Tribulation for the left behind, less faithful Christians of today and we call this the Main Harvest Rapture.  Most Christians that were unfaithful to Jesus Christ before the start of the Tribulation will prove to be very faithful to Him during their testing in the first half of the Tribulation.

Antichrist Desecrates the Temple

At mid-Tribulation Antichrist desecrates the temple of God in Jerusalem by saying that he is "god".  A large television screen is setup at the temple of God in Jerusalem by the False Prophet and he then forces the people of Israel to listen to speeches by and  to worship Antichrist at this temple.  This large screen is the image of the beast

The Mark of the Beast

At mid-Tribulation the False Prophet implements a computer system that only allows those people that are loyal to Antichrist to be able to buy and sell merchandise and services.  This is implemented by a small computer chip that is placed on the forehead or right hand of a person.  This is the mark of the beast: the number 666.

Seal Seven: the Seven Trumpets

The second half of the Tribulation is called The Day of The Lord.  During this 3 1/2 years Almighty God will cause terrible judgments to fall on the unsaved and unrepentant people of the world.  There are seven calamities that frighten and kill many of the unsaved and they are announced by the sounding of seven trumpets in Heaven.

God calls two Old Testament prophets: Elijah and Enoch to go to Jerusalem and prophesy the judgments from God upon the world during the second half of the Tribulation.

Trumpet One

Hail and fire from the heavens hits the earth and 1/3 of the trees and all green grass was burnt up.

Trumpet Two

A meteor or comet hits the ocean and 1/3 of the sea becomes blood.

Trumpet Three

A  meteor or comet hits the earth and 1/3 of the fresh water becomes wormwood or is poisonous.

Trumpet Four

The length of the earth's day decreases from 24 hours to 16 hours and higher jet stream winds most likely cause extreme weather events.

Trumpet Five: woe one

Locusts (fallen angels) from the abyss come forward and severely torment for five months those Gentiles that have taken the mark of the beast.

Trumpet Six: woe two

Trumpet Six is related to the Battle of Armageddon, so I'll explain the details of this slaughter upon mankind by the armies of China and other nations of the far east.

The leaders of China have assessed the situation in the world and decide that they want to remove all controls by Antichrist over them so they amass many soldiers and support troops and start the long trek from the far east towards Jerusalem where Antichrist has his headquarters.  They believe that they can conquer Antichrist with  tanks, self propelled vehicles, helicopters and airplanes and nuclear weapons.  Antichrist can tell from intelligence reports that China is moving towards Jerusalem and the final leg of their journey will be through Iraq.  He then summons whatever troops and weapons he can muster and is ready to defend his kingdom headquartered at Jerusalem.  Antichrist has completely destroyed political/military Babylon at mid-Tribulation so he has considerably less military strength to pit against China and other nations from the far east.

When Woe Two is complete, this great army from the far east has progressed as far west as the Euphrates river in Iraq.  It camps there and stands ready to head  south towards Israel.

God's two witnesses, Enoch and Elijah, who have prophesied the wrath of God upon the unsaved of the world during the second half of the Tribulation through the second woe are murdered by Antichrist and their bodies lie in the streets of Jerusalem for 3 1/2 days.  God then resurrects them and  takes them to Heaven and their resurrection will be viewed across the world on their TVs, hand-held devices and computer screens.

{Revelation 9:13-14} And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.

The four angels that are bound in the Euphrates River are fallen angels; they have been incarcerated there since before Noah's flood.  They are evil, and they will be allowed to go out and deceive the leaders of China and other eastern nations to battle the armies of Antichrist in the land of Israel.  They are told by these fallen angels that they will be successful when fighting Antichrist's armies.

What these fallen angels really want to do is to present a force of soldiers to do battle with Jesus Christ when He returns to earth to be its King.  They know that the Tribulation is seven years long and there is only a little over a year left before Jesus returns.  They also want to accomplish as much destruction on the earth as they can before His return.  As the sixth trumpet sounds, the Kings of the East begin their march towards Israel.

{9:15-16} And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. And the number of the army of the horsemen [were] two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.

The leaders of the nations of the far east will then meet and decide the plan for the attack upon the armies of Antichrist in Israel.  China will take the lead and provide most of a 200 million man army.  The soldiers will already have training in battle tactics and the commanders will then start moving the troops towards Israel.  It will take about 13 months to move through the various countries towards Israel.

{9:17-19} And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses [were] as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails [were] like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.

This is a vision that the Apostle Johns sees and he uses the terminology of the first century to describe 21st century vehicles and weapons.  The description of a horse he gives is some kind of tank and/or armored vehicle which could have hundreds of horsepower.  The head of the vehicle appears to be the turret of the tank that can turn 360 degrees and fire its rounds of artillery shells and machine gun rounds.  The smoke is the propellant that pushes the round out of the barrel towards its target; the fire is the results of the shells exploding over their targets; and the brimstone could be tactical nuclear shells that destroy large numbers of opposing soldiers.  The tanks could also have rocket launchers and attack their targets with even larger blasts of destruction.

The path for this great army will be through Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Iran and then to Iraq, at the Euphrates River.  Along the way, the armies of the countries that China invades will put up a strong defense.  However, China's military is just overpowering and it will simply destroy the countries they cross through.  Moving from the far east to Iraq many people will die including soldiers and civilians.  There are about 7.3 billion people in the world today. One-quarter of mankind has already been killed so far during the Tribulation.  During the march from the far east, One-third of the  world's population will be killed by this huge army. So far, approximately half of the population of the world has died.  What a gruesome thought.

{9:20-21} And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

The people of the world will know about the terrible destruction and death that the kings of the east bring upon the countries that they go through and conquer on their way to Israel.  They will also know that these terrible judgments upon the people of the world are caused by their sinful ways.  However, they refuse to repent of the following sins:
  • Murder: of their enemies or of Gentiles saved during the Tribulation
  • Sorcery: of  being involved with drugs and evil or supernatural forces
  • Fornication: of sexual immorality and of the worship of false gods including money or statues, but also of demons or fallen angels
  • Thefts: of stealing the resources of the poor and middle classes
Trumpet Seven: woe three

The Tribulation is almost over.  The seventh trumpet sounds the final seven judgments from God that will fall upon the sinful nations of the world.  When it sounds, there are only a few months or even a few weeks left in the Tribulation. There are seven deadly plagues that God will send upon the unsaved of the world as the final installment of His wrath; they are very intense, but only last a short time, perhaps only a few months or even a few weeks.

Bowl One

A deadly sore breaks out on the forehead or right hand of  those that took the mark of the beast.

Bowl Two

The sea becomes as the blood of a dead man and every living creature in the sea dies.

Bowl Three

The fresh water: the rivers and fountains are turned into blood.

Bowl Four

The sun heats up and scorches planet earth with fire; most likely by solar flares.

Bowl Five

The capital city of the Antichrist, Jerusalem, turns dark.  All power is knocked out because of the solar flares of bowl four and all in Antichrist's kingdom suffer greatly.  Most likely, the power in much of the rest of the world is also knocked out.

Bowl Six: The armies of the world assemble for Armageddon

At this point in the Tribulation, China's troops are massed just north of the Euphrates River and they have been there since the culmination of the events of Trumpet Six.

Revelation 16: {12} And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.

The Euphrates river is mentioned early in the book of Genesis and has been in existence for about 6,000 years.  It suddenly dries up and allows the vast armies of the east to cross it and travel to Israel.   The Antichrist will be aware of this massive army from the far east and he will amass his own armies from the nations of the world that are still loyal to him.  Antichrist's armies will arrive from the air and from ships docking in the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Israel.

{16:13-14} And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs [come] out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.  For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, [which] go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

The armies under the control of Antichrist will head towards Israel and also the armies of any other nations of the world that can assemble any troops.  The leaders of all of the countries of the world will be visited by fallen angels and told to go to battle in Israel.  The Day of God Almighty is the culmination of the Day of the Lord, which is the wrath that God sends upon the unsaved of the world during the second half of the Tribulation.

{16:15} Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed [is] he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

This is a message from Jesus to two groups of people: The Christians of today and the Gentiles saved during the Tribulation.  We should be watching for Christ's return and be avoiding evil and we should be doing good works that glorify God.  The garments that we wear are symbolic of the works we perform; white garments are good works and soiled garments are evil works.  Our soiled garments can be cleansed by the confession of our sins to God (If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I John 1:9).  If we are not now cleansed of our sins, we will be ashamed at the Judgment Seat of Christ.

{16:16} And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

The armies of the far east have now arrived in Israel and they make camp in the valley close to Mount Megiddo and they think that they will destroy Antichrist's armies here.  Antichrist's armies also arrive there.  However, something happens.  The unclean spirits, the fallen angels, also arrive there and tell all the combatants that a mutual enemy will shortly be arriving from from Heaven--this is Jesus Christ.  They are convinced by the fallen angels that instead of fighting each other that they should join forces and "defend" the earth from this outside force.  They may even say that these are aliens from another planet in the galaxy and that they want to take over the earth.  This sounds just ridiculous to me that the commanders of these armies would believe these lies, but they do believe.

At this point all of the  soldiers in all of the armies of the world are assembled in the valley that runs from Mt. Megiddo down to Jerusalem.  They are just waiting for Jesus to appear and to do battle with Him.

Bowl Seven

This final bowl of the wrath of God follows immediately after all of Antichrist's armies and the armies of the kings of the East appear in the place called Armageddon.

{Revelation 16:17} And the seventh poured out his bowl upon the air; and there came forth a great voice out of the temple, from the throne, saying, It is done:

The seven year Tribulation is now finished.  All that needs to be done is for Jesus to destroy the armies gathered to fight Him at the battle of Armageddon.  When bowl seven's destruction is complete, God's wrath upon the unrepentant people of the earth will be complete.

{16:18} and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunders; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since there were men upon the earth, so great an earthquake, so mighty.

When God speaks it is like gigantic thunder.  His voice can be heard everywhere and it will not be pleasant for the unsaved of the world.  Immediately after this, a great earthquake will happen and it will be the most powerful ever recorded on the earth and the whole world will shake.

{16:19} And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and Babylon the great was remembered in the sight of God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

The city of Jerusalem where Antichrist has his throne will form three great chasms in it and this earthquake will also destroy every single city in the world.  Many people in the world will die because of this gigantic earthquake.  The religious component of Babylon is stationed there and it will also be destroyed and all of the religious leaders and their false doctrine of the worship of Antichrist will be buried under tons of rubble.  The False Prophet will be the only member of this false religion that will be left alive.  He will shortly get his judgment.

{16:20} And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

This is the first step in reclaiming the land of the earth for the Millennium Kingdom.  Most of the water in the seven oceans will somehow drain back into the earth and it will be much like it was before Noah's flood.  There will then be a "mist" that will come up out of the earth and provide water for the plants, trees, animals and people just like it did before Noah's flood.  The Arctic and Antarctic will become much warmer and all deserts will disappear.  There will be mountains, but they will not be gigantic in size.  We know that Jesus' throne will be on the temple mount in Jerusalem.

{16:21} And great hail, [every stone] about the weight of a talent, cometh down out of heaven upon men: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof is exceeding great.

Can you imagine a 100 pound piece of hail falling from the sky at several hundred miles per hour?  Well, whatever they hit will be completely destroyed.  Those few humans left alive after this event happens will just curse God and take His name in vain.  Can you imagine this?  Why won't they repent and believe that there is a God and that He demands our highest respect?  Well they don't and they curse God; they are then destroyed because of their rebellion.

{Revelation 19:11} And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

Riding a white horse into an enemies territory is indicative of being victorious in the battles that a king might fight.  This glorious King is Jesus Christ.  He will very shortly defeat in one minute all of the armies of the world that are assembled in Israel in the valley of Megiddo.  At this time very word in every scripture that has been written regarding God's victory over His enemies  has proven to be absolutely true and fulfilled.  Jesus is the living word and the Holy Bible is the written word of God.

{12} His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

The eyes of Christ glow like fire towards the unsaved and unrepentant people of the world and they should be very afraid of Him; this is His displeasure for them because of their sinful ways.  He arrives with many crowns on His head and these are the crowns of all of the conquered kings of the world that He has overcome and destroyed during the Tribulation.  How He can wear many crowns is because of His deity.  We can't explain how it happens, but He has capabilities and powers that we can't even imagine at this point.  His hidden name is the name that God the Father has given Him.  This name is of such high esteem that only God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit know this name.

{13} And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

The following Old Testament verse explains in detail this verse:

{Isaiah 63:1-3}  Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, marching in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winevat?  I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the peoples there was no man with me: yea, I trod them in mine anger, and trampled them in my wrath; and their lifeblood is sprinkled upon my garments, and I have stained all my raiment.

Jesus will come from Heaven to destroy His enemies at Armageddon and His flight will be from the east over the current nation of Jordan and He will arrive with heavenly glory surrounding Him.  For the unsaved He will be very awesome in appearance and the armies of the world with shake with fear.  Jesus will arrive with blood stains already on His garments.  This blood will be the blood of His enemies that He has defeated over the 6,000 year history of the earth.  It will also be the blood that He anticipates to take from the enemy soldiers in these great armies amassed in the valley of Megiddo.  He is now ready to defeat all the soldiers of these armies.  Jesus will be the only combatant on the side of good and He will simply trample the armies of the world.

{14} And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

The armies of Heaven are both the Old Testament saints and the saints of the 2,000 year Church age.  These are the faithful saints because they are wearing white linen so they have let God cleanse the sin out of their lives while they lived on the earth and have accomplished good works for the glory of God; the less faithful saints will remain in Heaven.  Because they let the Holy Spirit lead them during their time on this earth, these faithful saints will be riding on white horses which is their reward for being victors over their enemies which are Satan, the world and the flesh nature.

{15} And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

It's not a literal sword, but is a word sword.  Jesus just speaks something like: "The soldiers in these armies are now history."  They will all fall down dead in their tracks and vultures and other raptors will appear and eat the bodies of these now dead soldiers.  Jesus defeating His enemies at the battle of Armageddon will take Him all of one minute to complete.  After this battle Jesus will rule all nations of the earth as the King of the World.

{16} And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

There is no higher award or commendation that anyone in all the heavens or on earth can obtain.  Jesus Christ has the highest glory and honor that is possible to get from God the Father.  He is supreme above all and is rules over all Heaven and Earth.

{17-18} And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;  That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

Almighty God calls many birds of prey and vultures to assemble in Israel because they will soon feast on the dead bodies of the small and great, of the commanders and soldiers and any other unsaved humans whether they are great or small, powerful or weak.  This will take many raptors to complete this gruesome job so they might come in from all around the land of Israel.

{19} And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

The Antichrist and his armies and the armies of the far east and all other armies are now ready to make war against Jesus Christ as He rides on His white horse towards them from the East.  Christ's army are His faithful saints that also ride with Him on their own horses as He fights and destroys the armies of evil.  The presidents and military commanders of these human armies actually believe that they can fight and defeat Him.

{20} And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Jesus then sends His angels to capture the Antichrist and the False Prophet and all humans still alive that took the mark of the Beast--the 666 number.  Antichrist and the False Prophet are then judged and found guilty and they are both cast into the Lake of Fire that is burning with brimstone; they are the first of the unsaved to experience this dreadful punishment.  This is a most horrible and painful place to be; they will never escape this terrible place: their judgment will be the most severe of any humans that ever lived.

{21} And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Those unsaved that took the mark of the beast are then slain by Jesus.  These will also include those people that did not travel to Israel for the Battle of Armageddon; these people will be transported by angels to Israel.  He just speaks the word and they all just drop dead in front of Him.  The raptors and other birds of prey will then feast on their dead bodies.    At the end of the Millennium Kingdom the unsaved will be resurrected and judged at the Great White Throne judgment by Jesus Christ.  They will then be cast into the Lake of Fire and be tormented forever.

After the Wrath of God is complete

{Isaiah 2:2-3}  And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.  And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

The seven year Tribulation is now over with Jesus as the conquering Victor over evil.  After the battle of Armageddon has finished and Jesus Christ has conquered Antichrist, the False Prophet, Satan, and the armies of the world, Jesus then assumes His rightful place as King of the World.

Jesus will then have His angels completely destroy the temple where Antichrist said that he is "god."  The temple mount will then be completely clean and ready for the greatest of all of the temples--the temple that Jesus will have His grand throne on the earth and rule all of the nations on the earth.  This temple will be built according to the description given in the book of Ezekiel in chapters 40 through 48.  The sacrifices mentioned in these chapters will not be sacrifices of animals, but will be the offering up of the lives of the descendants of Israel in perfect obedience to Jesus Christ.

When Jesus returns to the earth as its King, He will resurrect the people of the twelves tribes of Israel from all ages and give then the same type of resurrection body as He gave the 144,000 at mid-Tribulation. Paul confirms that all of Israel would be saved:

Romans 11:25 For I would not, brethren, have you ignorant of this mystery, lest ye be wise in your own conceits, that a hardening in part hath befallen Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in;
Romans 11:26 and so all Israel shall be saved: even as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer; He shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
Romans 11:27 And this is my covenant unto them, When I shall take away their sins.

If you read books of the Old Testament, the Jews were mostly unfaithful to God. They even sacrificed their first born children to idols.   However, God's grace applies to not only Christians, but also to the descendants of Israel and He said who He decides to save:

Jeremiah 31:37 Thus saith Jehovah: If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, then will I also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith Jehovah.

So both Christians and descendants of Jacob are not worthy to be saved, but because of God's love for both He saves both groups of people. This verse shows that since Heaven is unlimited and that the internals of the earth cannot be entered and explored, that God's love is thus for the descendants of Jacob.  He will save every one of Israel's descendants, worthy or not.

He will have His angels cleanup the world and perfect justice will be accomplished by Him.  The inhabitants of the Millennium Kingdom will be Old Testament saints and the Christians of the 2,000 year church age, the Jews and the gentiles during the Tribulation that did not take the mark of the beast.  The curse will be removed from the world and the land will be like the earth was before the fall of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden: just perfect!  Although only saved individuals will be allowed to live and inhabit the earth after the Tribulation, the Gentiles saved during the Tribulation will still have their sinful nature.  Jesus will administer perfect justice and those that sin will be disciplined by Him.  The Holy Bible will be taught in-depth by Jesus and His saints to all the Jews and Gentiles during the Millennium Kingdom.

The nations and tribes that inhabit the earth during the Millennium Kingdom will be so appreciative of what Jesus has done to conquer evil and establish perfect justice in the world that they will want to visit Him often in Jerusalem and tell Him that they love Him and give thanks for removing the curse and allowing peace to rule the world.  He will accept their praise and their thanks and enjoy their adoration.
